Part of The Sleep Sisters' service is to collect information from you and offer a service. As such, our Privacy Policy regulates how we collect, use and store your data.

The information which we collect from you:

  • Your name

  • Your phone number

  • Your email address

  • Your home address (through online payments)

  • Your card transaction information and payment history

  • Your Social Media page

 

How we collect this information

This information is collected via your use of the website or our social media pages, and a client form which you fill out prior to our providing a service to you.

 

When do we use the information?

The information you provide us is used primarily to allow us to carry out a service to you. We may also use the information for follow up reviews and to improve our services. This will only be done with your consent and you are not obliged to review our services if you do not wish to.

On rare occasions, we would also be obliged to use your details if we had legitimate cause for concern or safeguarding concerns over a child’s welfare. In this case, we would we obliged by law to report this to the relevant authorities.

We use cookies on our website to see how you interact with it. By accepting, you agree to such use of our cookies.

 

How do we store your data?

Your data will be stored on secure servers. We never print out information and operate a ‘paperless’ policy. If you have any concerns over the misuses or loss of your data, please email info@thesleepsisters.co.uk

Data Retention

The Sleep Sisters will securely hold your data for as long as we see fit to complete our service to you.

 

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the information which The Sleep Sisters has pertaining to you.

You have the right to rectify the data which The Sleep Sisters hold on you.

You have the right to request that we fully erase the data we hold on you.

If you are unhappy with the way he hold your information, you have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information can be found at https://ico.org.uk/ 

 

General

You are not able to transfer your rights pertaining to this policy to another person. The Sleep Sisters have the right to transfer our rights in this policy where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.

Any disputes arising under this policy will be be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.  

 

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose your information.

Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance 

1.1 The use of our website is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Information and Services 

2.1 The services and purchases made from The Sleep Sisters are non refundable in any event.

2.2 Advice from The Sleep Sisters should not be sought in replacement of medical advice. If your child has an underlying health condition, we strongly advise you seek medical advice.

2.3 The Sleep Sisters are not qualified to give medical advice and will always decline to do so if asked. This should always be sought by a medical professional.

2.4 The Sleep Sisters are fully qualified sleep consultants and will advise to the best of their ability with the information presented to them, but they will not guarantee that this will lead to the client’s desired result.

2.5 The Sleep Sisters hold no accountability if a client doesn’t achieve their desired result from a purchase or one of our services. Every child is different, and we will advise a client accordingly. This does not guarantee success.

2.6 If a client experiences a regression in their child’s sleep in the month preceding the consultation, The Sleep Sisters hold no liability. As your child grows, their sleep needs will change and will need to be accounted for.

3. Personal Information

3.1 The Sleep Sisters will securely store your information and will never sell or distribute your details to any third parties. If you request that your information be erased completely from our system, please put your request in writing to us.

3.2  Your personal details will be dealt with as per our Privacy Policy.

4. Consultations & Services

4.1 The Sleep Sisters reserve the right not to proceed with a consultation if it becomes apparent that the child has any underlying health condition.

4.2 If the client’s desired result is not achieved through services or a purchase from our website, The Sleep Sisters hold no accountability.

4.3 The Sleep Sisters reserve the right to cancel, reschedule [a booking], or appoint another consultant in the event of an emergency. You will be contacted prior to the appointment and re-booked as soon as possible.

4.4 The Sleep Sisters reserve the right to not continue with a consultation or booking for any reason which may hinder the consultation.

4.5 In no event shall The Sleep Sisters be liable for any damages including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, or personal injury/wrongful death resulting from the use of or inability to use the information provided. 

 

5. Working Hours

5.1 Where the Sleep Consultation Package is purchased, you are entitled to 1 x follow up email, which must be sent within a month of your Zoom consultation. The Sleep Sisters will respond at the earliest opportunity to your email and answer your questions as best as they can with the information provided. You must include your full name, your child's name and the date of your Zoom call in your email.

5.2 Where the Bespoke Sleep Consultation & Support Package is purchased, you are entitled to 5 days of Whatsapp support. This support will start on a day advised by you, but must be no longer than 2 weeks after your Zoom consultation (unless otherwise agreed). The Sleep Sisters will be contactable by Whatsapp between the hours of 8am-9am and 5:30pm-6:30pm, apart from the first night of your support where they will be contactable from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. The Sleep Sisters will reply as soon as possible to your messages.

6. Website

6.1 The Sleep Sisters are the owners of all intellectual property rights on our website and material published on it.

6.2 Sleep plans remain the intellectual property of The Sleep Sisters and, upon purchase of them, you agree not to copy or distribute them to anyone else. 

7. Payment

7.1 Full payment must be made no less

 than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If payment has not been received at this time, The Sleep Sisters reserve the right to cancel your appointment.

7.2 Payment must be made into The Sleep Sisters bank account (of which details will be listed in your email confirmation).

7.3 If you need to cancel your appointment, the following will apply:

  • Within 24 hours - no refund given

  • 24-48 hours before - 50% of the refund given

  • More than 48 hours before - Full refund will be given

7.4 In exceptional circumstances, if a cancellation is required, the Sleep Sisters will assess on a case by case basis.
